bottled up thoughts in maroon and yellow: Russian School Seizure

Today, I was just relaxing on my couch when the television showed scenes from the hostage standoff at a school in Beslan, southern Russia. Images of topless children, bleeding all over, being carried away to a place of safety. Grieving mothers, sprawled over the lifeless bodies of the ones who once brought colour into their lives. All the dead lives just to make a statement? I’m pretty surprised how come the government has placed so little light on such a situation. It’s amazing that when something big happens they put it in small print so as not to cause the entire island to be in a state of panick. I guess I haven’t been reading the papers much, in fact I barely have the time, but it seems like there is terrorism in every country. Bomb blast etc. Nowhere is safe to travel. Haha. Hey but the papers use small print so maybe it’s okay after all.
